About us
In Summer 2015 we packed up our home and family and left our hometown, Croydon, South East London (eyebrows down please) to try a different pace of life in the South West – Exeter to be precise.
My name is Stephanie, and I began this blog in 2016 with a view to Explore Exeter and Devon with my family. Since then it has become so much more. I have met and experienced lots of the brilliant businesses we have locally, learnt about Exeter’s history and heritage, met some fascinating people and we have had lots of fun as a family. Through the blog I have had plenty of other opportunities too, such as; becoming a columnist for Exeter Life Magazine, speaking at events and writing for other local publications and blogs.
Now that our feet are firmly under the table, I have expanded Exploring Exeter into a blogzine. With more voices, it is full of parenting stories, cool places to visit in Exeter and Devon, food, theatre, music reviews and lots, lots more.
