Christmas at Otter Nurseries in pictures
This morning we visited Father Christmas at Otter Nurseries in Ottery St Mary. It was our first grotto visit of the season and I took lots of pictures to share the experience with you.
Checking in, all the staff were dressed at Santa’s helpers and we felt welcome from the outset.
We only bumped into the cast of Snow White – Barnfield Theatre’s Christmas Panto – who were looking rather fabulous.
We did a spot of singing with Santa’s helpers then popped in to see the reindeers..
Rudy and Judy sang us a few songs and we headed into the next room.
In the winter wonderland there were singing bears, sleighs to sit on, houses to play in and SNOW! (which I didn’t manage to get a good shot of)
Then the children were invited to Mrs Christmas’ kitchen to made some magic food to leave out for the reindeer on Christmas Eve.
Finally, we visited the man himself. The children were chuffed that Father Christmas knew all about them and had chosen gifts for them that they liked. I was pretty chuffed to receive a gift too!
After our visit to the grotto we had a look around the gift shop which was a treat in itself (I’m a sucker for things that sparkle)..
We had a fab time at Otter nurseries, the staff were lovely and the whole experience was pretty magical.

Thanks to the fabulous staff at Otter Nurseries for the experience and for the complimentary tickets.

I love Otter Nurseries, cant wait until I have some little people I can take to see the main man!
This looks like great fun for little ones. We’ve never been to Otter Nurseries, we’ll have to check it out sometime
You definitely should Gina, it was fab!
We are booked in to go on the 22nd December – I am really looking forward to it and I think the kids will love it.
