Exeter Illustrators ‘Special Edition’ Art Print for the Lord Mayor of Exeter
A few months ago Liz Finnie visited Exeter Illustrators exhibition launch at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Afterwards I popped along and bought myself their collaborative art print, Buildings of Exeter (that I am rather pleased with).
Last week the Exeter Illustrators, created a ‘special edition’ Buildings of Exeter and delivered it to the Lord Mayor of Exeter.
Exeter Illustrators Paul Cherrill said it was a fantastic opportunity. “The group were delighted to be asked to create this special edition that celebrates the amazing buildings on our doorstep – so rich in architecture and steeped in history and tradition”.
The A2 sized art print is to be used as a unique ‘civic gift’ for the city of Exeter – the first recipient being the Mayor of Bad Homburg and his delegation on a forthcoming ‘twinning’ visit.
Lord Mayor of Exeter Support Officer, Emara Roth said:
It’s great to be able to present such a unique civic gift to the Lord Mayor of Bad Homburg and there is nothing better than promoting and supporting local businesses and enterprises.
