Story Time with Michael Morpurgo and Crediton Community Bookshop
Master storyteller Michael Morpurgo will be beamed into people’s homes this Christmas thanks to an initiative from Crediton Community Bookshop.
Michael will be doing an exclusive reading of this new book Owl or Pussycat? via Zoom. The book is inspired by Michael’s childhood experience of playing Owl in his school’s production of Edward Lear’s The Owl and the Pussycat.
And everyone who buys a copy of the book through the bookshop’s website will receive an exclusive link to the Zoom event, which takes place on Sunday 13 December at 6pm.
Dee Lalljee, Crediton Community Bookshop manager, said: ‘We are delighted to be able to bring Michael into people’s homes this way. He really is a fantastic storyteller and this book is just lovely. It feels like a great way to bring a little bit of Christmas magic in a year which had been challenging for so many of us.’
You can sign up for the event here.
You will receive your Zoom link with your purchase, or tickets are available at £5 each.
